COURSE NAME: MSE 104 DIRECTORY PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the basic principles of directory planning and implementation. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain the role and features of Active Directory as a directory service in Windows Server and choose the appropriate Active Directory administration tool in a given scenario, 2) outline the steps involved in creating an Active Directory structure, and how to troubleshoot an Active Directory installation in a given scenario 3) describe how to customize a global catalog server and the appropriate placement strategy for global catalog servers and domain controllers, and 4) determine the need for universal group caching and how to manage operations master roles in an enterprise Active Directory structure
