COURSE NAME: LAW 110 PROPERTY
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the essentials of Property law. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain foundations of property law, property rights, finders, gifts, intellectual property, and personal property, 2) define the concepts of future interest, held interests, tenancy, leased premises, and leasehold termination of tenancy, sales contract, condition of property rights, 3) identify mortgages, deeds, land title, recording systems, title assurance, adverse possession, transfer at death nuisance, trespass, and easement and 4) explain legal procedures associated with property law, covenants, equitable servitude, condominiums, and zoning tools for zoning and land use and eminent domain.
