COURSE NAME: HCA 111 HEALTHCARE DELIVERY

Students will learn the essentials of health delivery services. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) describe the various types of health services professionals, their training, practice requirements, and differences among licenses, accreditation, and certification, 2) explain the various types of hospitals, various levels of services provided, and sources of financing, 3) discuss the types and of mental and rehabilitative health services, and sources of financing, and 4) explain and identity functions and components of health records and data quality including coding, classification systems, and manual techniques used storing maintaining health records.
