COURSE NAME: CTS 105 COMPTIA COMPUTER HARDWARE HTTP
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the essentials of CompTIA Computer Hardware HTTP. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) differentiate between the security control types, explain the principles of availability, integrity, and confidentiality, the main processes of an access control system, 2) classify the types of malware, differentiate between the types of local social engineering attacks, and outline the types of remote social engineering techniques, 3) distinguish between TCP and UDP, explain the most common TCP and UDP ports, differentiate between the three main frameworks for NAC, and 4) identify the best practices for port security, when to use a port scanner as part of a vulnerability assessment, and when to use a sniffer as part of a vulnerability assessment.
