COURSE NAME: CNA 104 ND CONFIGURATION & SCALING
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the basic principles of configuration and scaling. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) describe the purpose of ACLs, explain how inbound and outbound ACLs operate, standard and extended IPv4 ACLs, 2) discuss dynamic, reflexive, and time-based Extended ACLs, how to use wildcard masks with ACLs, 3) explain how to configure numbered standard IPv4 ACLs, how to identify and resolve common ACL configuration errors, and 4) discuss the steps for translating an inside source address, how to configure PAT by overloading an inside global address, and how to configure PAT in a given scenario
