COURSE NAME: CNA 103 ND IMPLEMENTATION & PROTOCOLS
Course Description (Detailed Syllabus is released upon registration)
Students will learn the basic principles of implementation and protocols. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain the basics of sub-netting, rules of sub-netting, host addresses, ranges, IP addresses to router, binary and decimal numbers, 2) describe the characteristics of WANs, WAN devices, public and private WAN connection options, 3) discuss advantages of point-to-point communications, characteristics of High-Level Data Link Control differentiate between RIPv1and RIPv2, and 4) outline and explain purpose and function of Cisco Discovery Protocol, how to troubleshoot IP using CDP, and the process for locating the Cisco IOS image
