COURSE NAME: BUS 113 BUSINESS COMMUNICAION

Students will learn the essentials of business communication. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain interpersonal skills that contribute to effective and satisfying communication skills and successful social and professional relationships, 2) identify proper writing techniques for effective and concise letters, memos, and emails, and informal and formal reports, 3) describe collaborative and professional ethics in resolving workplace conflicts, and proper business and phone etiquette, and 4) outline successful meetings and problem solving techniques and appropriate contingency plans for unexpected incidents.
