COURSE NAME: BUS 112 Practical Office Management

Students will learn practical office management techniques. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: 1) explain proper planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the quality of work, how to offer incentives to increase productivity among employees, 2) describe how to keep moral up and motivate employees by creating and implementing a system to measure performance, 3) outline the various programs for evaluating employee’s budget and cost control procedures maximizing the company’s profit, and 4) discuss how to plan meetings, set deadlines, and delegate tasks, plan for the unexpected events including contingency plans.
